Management in all bussiness and human organisation activity is simply the act of getting people together to accommplish desired goals and objectives. Management comprises planning , organising , staffing , leading or directing and controlling an organisation (a group of one or more people or enntitles) or efforts for the purpose of accomplishing a goal.Resourcing encompasses the deployment and manipulation of human resources , financial resources , technological resources and natural resources.
"Management consists of seven functions: planning,organizing,leading,co-ordinating,controlling,staffing,motivating" by Frenchman Henri Fayol
Oh yeah .. And I found the actual of my faculty's (Management) aim :-
Faculty of Management Aim : To provide and maintain an environment conducive towards independent learning,research and intellectual enquiry,with emphasis on the changing needs of the new millennium .
