Steps of My Design

Hello people ..

Now I will show you some step to complete my work (e-wallpaper)..

Lets begin ...

Firstly,I insert a texture as a basic of the background which is in light grey colour .. Next i change the opacity to 83% ..

How to do it ?? : Layers >> opacity

Note: I choosed to put the light colour under the dark colour for the balance of the background

Then ...

I add onother image as a second layer of background.Next, I changed the mode of the layer from normal to 'overlay' to get a better effect as I wanted..

How to do it ?? : Layers >> mode >> overlay

Then ..

I add an image (a bunch of people) and placed it in the center..

then...

I duplicated the image of the people and transform it upside down to bring somekind of 'shadow' effect

How to do it ?? : Edit >> Free transform.

Next, I changed the opacity of the layer to 12%..so that the colour will be lighter than the actual image

How to do it ?? : Layers >> opacity

Then..

I typed 'MMU FOM OPEN DAY' and the date on the top of the wallpaper . I used 'Myriad pro' font for the text.Next i add some style on the text ..

How to do it ?? : Layers >> Blending options >> outer glow "black color" 38 Capacity..

Yeah and i choosed white colour for the text.I guess it's clear and easy to grab the attention of the people to read it :)

Last but not least ...

I add MMU logo to show that it's one of the university(MMU) event..

hermm...Finally I'm done with my e-wallpaper assignment ..

and tadaaaaaaaaaaaa ..... :)
